ABOUT US >>>
Since we began over fifteen years ago, our mission or mantra at Voyage Community Church has been the same: to point the way back to God. We recognize that many grew up in the church but have since walked away. We desperately want to change this. Our model for doing this is what centered around three distinct phases: by learning, living and leading the way. We learn the way as we read and study God's Word. We live the way as we live out our faith on a daily basis. Finally, we lead the way as we encourage others to do the same.
At Voyage Community Church, we value fellowship with one another and incorporate several activities throughout the year to do this. Even more, we value the Spirit of God who calls us to worship Him corporately on a weekly basis. We also value joy-filled laughter. Through the joy-filled songs that we sing and through the joy of learning God's Word, we preach and teach God's desire to enliven us with regular expressions of joy. Finally, we value prayer and make time within each worship service to pray for one another.
WHO WE ARE
>>>
MISSION
Together we are a community of believers. What does that mean, the word community? We believe that together in fellowship we grow closer to God and one another. The bible speaks about iron sharpening iron. We believe that together we grow stronger. We are a community of believers.
VISION
We strive to be a church without walls. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the lost and the broken. It is there that the lost will be found. Most churches find it is comfortable to stay within the walls, but we make it an effort to be like the church from the book of Acts, to see our city changed.
VALUES
We highly value our relationships with one another. We look to grow through fellowship, and ultimately growing closer to God. We value the word of God, and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We look to extend grace to all of the lost and broken, and lead those with no hope to the hope of Jesus Christ.
